Spoilers attached

September 13th, 2006 by ahmadrazi

120906_1817 120906_1950Well, here it is. Da latest installation to my moded iswara. A carbonated fibre GT wing spoiler.  Well, it looks corbonated atleast. Actually it aint. A carbonated fibre spoiler would cost you atleast rm900 and to rm1000 plus. This one however is a malaysian made spoiler, just like my car (Malaysia Boleh!). Which cost less than half a grand. Well wan, if you’re askin bout my latest modin project, here it is. Drop by sumtime and we can chill out wit me n shah. Faiz’s gettin his new ride to. Too bad it’s gonna be a W or a B instead of a Q, unlike da real BlaQats( me and shah). Anywayz, if you were to compare da quality of da malaysian made and da originial carbon fibre, this one only has stickers on. I dont mind bout da carbon fibre shit or what. All i needed was a black spoiler to suit my car, so..The legs that holds da spoiler would be designed slightly different compared to da original. The original would have a wider foot cruncing on da back of your car. In which, it was kinda difficult to fit in an Iswara Aeroback’s back. Da malaysian made however, is much more easier as da feet needs no adjustment or modification. The original GT carbonated wing is much more wider and aerodynamic compared to da malaysian. So if you’re really goin into da drag racin stuff, just go for a rm1000 wing lar. But, if u just wanna chill out like me, buy cheap cheap dah la. Well, dats pretty much bout it.

Rainforest Musical Festival

July 8th, 2006 by ahmadrazi

Img_3840 Its my  first night out to one of da(unfortunately only one) nights of da wild rainforest musical festival. I’d go to all da other nights fow sure but had to take the next flight to K.L da next day DaMnNNn! Anywayz, finally i gots da chance to be ere at one of da biggest musical event of da year, da one dat everyone’s been talkin about. I’ve been wanted to be to da fest fow years now, but since i havent been back in town lately, i havent got da chance to. Anywayz, i was lucky enough to be accompanied by two of my other musica’ enthuZiasts buddies maman n jaliee.Img_3738

So here’s how it all goes, basically da real deal concert starts at night and thats where da party goes wild with all da music, drums, people dancin, drunk chiqs, hot chiqs, and lotsa others. If you’re really into dat kinda atmosphere, you really should be at da rainforest. Anywayz, before all da night fun, the whole event starts of with some workshops goin on around the Cultural Village. Its like they have some three different performance in which they call a workshop in three different venues every one or two hours. So what you do is just pick da kinda music you love and go for da venue. Img_3703 The workshop is more of to a smaller venue either its the main audi or one of the traditional houses. In these workshops its like they have performers from two different countries jam saperately, introduce the type of music and instruments that dey play and lastlye (here’s da best part) dey jam 2gether. Kinda kewl eyh. But da da perfromance all short short la, but layan man. Like i said, its more of a smaller venue and a smaller crowd. You’ll feel closer to da musicians and music itself.

After all da workshops done, you’ll just have to wait till 7:30pm and dats when all da party starts. If you really wanna feel da whole rainforest down to your heart, you really should join in da crowd rather than just sittin at da back. Or than again, if you’re just into da music and not much of a social kinda person, just bring along a ‘tikar rotan’ or a foldable seat and enjoy the music away from the crowd. Seriously da show’s nothin like what i expect it to be. The festival has perfromances by people from all over around da world. In this season of football, its not only da ball dat unites us all, its also da music and da beautiful forest of sarawak. Really man, it’s really a party in da jungle. Img_3809 Performers from Austria, Korea, France, Scotland, Mali, Latin America, previously even from the U.S, Australia and lots moe. Accordin to my festival guide maman and jali, second night’s always da best and da wildest. Sayang i only got to check out da first, but fow sure im gonna check out da second and finale night next year. Da last night is where they have all da performers jam together. GILA KEWL WEAAYY¬!!!! Anywayz, enjoy da pics dat i took, and im gonna touch more on Music on da upcomin Jazz Festival thats around da corner. It should be sumwhere around da corner probably next month, of coz at mount kiara.

Tokyo Drift Review

June 17th, 2006 by ahmadrazi

Thefastandthefurioustokyodrift_bigearlypThe third episode of the Fast and the Furious Saga brings us to Japan where all tha hard Japanese Sports car are born. You’ll get more excited when you check out the trailer. However, if you’re a true love enthusiasts and you are into driftin. You might wanna think again. Lets just say its not up to that level of expectations. The thing that makes this third volume different from the other two is that it focuses more onto the drifting technique (obviously). So you’ll be expecting lots of hot rod burnin smokin tyres and all. Thats exactly what you’ll get and theng again it just might not be enough if you ask me.

The cars are wonderful, the bodykits were great and the atmosphere was amazing. The starting point was kewl with all tha tense and driftin around, but i would have to say there’s just too much american job put into this japanese scenes. First point, if you know drifting, there are many ways to do so. In the movie however, its the same technique and the simplest technique in da driftin book used, da e-break. Even D.K (drift king, super japanese bad guy in da movie) uses this lame technique. If you were to recall Jay Cheow’s Initial D, their technique were much more advanced and skill full i would say where they press the breaks and rev at the same time with one foot without using the hand breaks. In the Tokyo Drift you would notice that the camera keeps on focusing on the empty break padle to show that no breaks were used, just to show how good they are at driftin without the breaks. But notice pulin the hand breaks were shown, this would have to be the easiest technique in drifting, used only by rookies.

Secondly the drift scenes; i would really prefer Initail D’s driftin scenes where they really enhanced the sports and arts of drifting through the camera lense. Here, the shots were just to simple, typical and american. Lets say if you’re watching a Kung Fu movie compared to an American Fighting scene, it’s like you can really notice the difference on how kewl and realistic a chinese kung fu scene looks like compared to an american grumbling and slow motion cinematography. Initial D’s drifting technique is more appreciated i would say compared to this one. Check em out if you wanna know what im saying. Tokyodrift1_1

Lastly the ending scene; also compared to Initial D (where i would grade as the best drift movie eva) the ending scene brings us to a similarity where cars race themselevs driftin down hills. The difference is that Jay Chow’s more passionate in the sportsmanship of driftin to beat Edison Chen to the last corner. Also we can have the drunk old daddy explaining how the whole race would come to an end if so does so and so. In the latest Tokyo Drift however, you’ll see that another lame american style of racing is being imported into a japanese scene, car bumpin. You see it all the time in Mission Impossibles, James Bond, Thriple X, and bla bla. All of the sudden, the driftin sequal wasnt so important anymore. Its more to suspense and thrill.

The good thing i would enjoy about this movie is that its whole atmosphere of Tokyo’s underground street racing world. Also, the car makeovers where somethin. The enhancement of the latest Nissan Fairlady 350Z sure was sumthin. I never knew an FD RX-7 would look so stunnin. Anywayz, overall i would give it a B grade. Initial D, not so good lookin cars but kewl driftin, Tokyo Drift, way slammin rides but not much of a drift. So this still puts Initial D on top of my race movie list, followed by the fast and furious thrilogy.  Tokyodrift_dust

A comeback gift for me car

May 1st, 2006 by ahmadrazi

Dscn8146_1 So just got back from China and tomorrow’s another hard hour day at the studio. How typical life can be. Anywayz, got meself a comback gift for me baby car. There arent no car shops around in china so i got to get one ere. Wan, just in case if you’re reading. I got my brambo clippers on. Here it costs rm 20 and a rm50 service charge. All together rm70 la, almost da same like da rest. When i went to Brothers for tha clippers, they say it wont fit my 15 inch rims because its too small. But Super Star accessories made it possible. Now what they do is that they somehow trimmed your break clippers just a lil bit so dat da brambo clippers will fill in. Then, they’ll apply some melted plastic that acts as glue to join the clippers to your breaks. The so called glue might take sometime to dry up, so do not drive to fast when you’re on da road. Max speed of 80km/hr would be the max speed if you want your clippers to stick. It’ll only take a day for it to dry so no worries. And, if you’re worried that installing da break clippers might distort your alignments, it wont! Just go ahead and try. Looks pretty cool when you spin those rims  with a static red brambo clipper visible through your rim bars. Da next thing installed is just a gear knob i get for rm30. Finally found da rite one. Dscn8155 Owh ya, just in case any of you guys from Klang Velly lookin for accessory shop, you guys should try out Super Star at Desa Pandan. You guys can really talk out prices with em. Trust me these guys are good. You can tell by the number of cars comin in and out of their shop, non stop man. I’ve been to lots of shops and this one’s got on top of my list. If you’re thinkin of brothers, think again. Da thing with Brother’s is that they’re really cheap. Then again, they dont interact with your car unlike other accessory shop where they can have a look at your car, and consult on the parts that you wanna but on will it fit or not. Those salesmen in Brothers cant even see your car and they just dont know what answer to give when you ask "boley masok ke tak". If they want money, they’ll simply say "boley boley punya". And the service installation is different as if they have a different shop outside that installs on behalf of the shop. If da item is cheap, the installation charge might not. So if you’re lookin for Brother’s items, make sure you are really sure it fits in your car and needs no installation or you know how to do it yourself. Only then it’s cheap. If you want to interact with da shopkeeper and consult, you just go ahead with a car visible shop where you drive in your car into da shop and consult. Plus, you can bargain da service charge and the item price together coz they’re under one roof. Anywayz, here’s a pic of a Modified BMW in china, so far it’s da only kewl car i saw there. Other’s, couldnt get em pics. Bak kata orang kita, mun kacak, kacak benar keta sia, mun burok, burok mena.Dscn8167

FA Barclays Premiership

March 30th, 2006 by ahmadrazi

John O’Shea and Rio Ferdinand congratulate Ruud van Nistelrooy on his first-half goal.

FA Barclays PremiershipFA Barclays Premiership
Old Trafford, Wednesday 29 March

Manchester United 1
Van Nistelrooy (45)
West Ham 0

Another record Old Trafford attendance witnessed Ruud van Nistelrooy return to United’s starting line-up to inspire a narrow 1-0 victory over West Ham with his 149th goal  for the club. The win takes the Reds five points clear of Liverpool and nine points behind Chelsea.

The Dutchman struck on the stroke of half-time, the decisive moment on a relatively quiet evening in front of 69,522 supporters. Van Nistelrooy was one of five changes made by Sir Alex Ferguson from Sunday’s 3-0 win over Steve Bruce’s Birmingham.
Ruud, who has started the last five matches on the bench, was joined by Gerard Pique, Partric Evra, Darren Fletcher, Ji-sung Park in the starting line-up.
Pique, a 19-year-old central defender signed from Barcelona in 2004, made his first Premiership start at right-back in place of Gary Neville, who suffered a hamstring in training just two days after making his 500th appearance for the Reds on Sunday.
United started sloppily, with Matthew Etherington allowed space to volley, albeit over, from close range inside the first five minutes. Then Evra took an age to decide what to do with the ball deep in United’s half and gave away a corner.
West Ham were showed far more precision to their passing and guile in their attacks in the opening exchanges. Alan Pardew’s side had another corner moments later and Dean Ashton could have put the Hammers in front. He got a touch on the ball following Lionel Scaloni’s volley from 12 yards, but it went wide. Not a pretty start from the Reds.
But United were sparked into action when they had a dubious penalty claim turned down. It was the move that led to the appeal that was most pleasing, however. Ronaldo and Fletcher combined down the right to play the ball inside to Rooney. He nutmegged a defender to find Ronaldo’s continued run and the winger tumbled in the box before he could get his shot in. Contact from Danny Gabbidon was minimal, as was referee Graham Poll’s patience with the United players’ protests, which he sternly waved away.
It was the Portuguese winger that orchestrated United’s next effort on goal after 20 minutes. He was tripped mid-stepover by West Ham midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker 35 yards from goal, and he had Shaka Hislop scrambling to pick up his fumbled catch from the resulting, well-struck free-kick.
Five minutes later Rooney produced a pass of such breath-taking brilliance that it should have led to the opening goal. Doing the old look-one-way-pass-the-other trick he found Fletcher’s darting run into the box, but the Scot could only hit the side-netting.
It was all too much for Graham Poll. Struggling with a hamstring injury, he was replaced by the fourth official Martin Atkinson.
With ten minutes of the half remaining, United almost took the lead twice in two minutes through two centre-backs. First, Pique plucked up the courage to despatch a 25-yard, curling shot towards the top corner. Hislop, at full stretch, tipped it over the bar and from the resulting corner Nemanja Vidic emerged from the scramble in the box to strike a low, side-footed effort off the base of the post.
As the first half drifted into injury time, and with the deadlock not yet broken, United’s players may have thought their luck was out. But the breakthrough finally came from that man Ruud van Nistelrooy.
He had Park to thank after the Korean’s courageous run took him past Paul Konchesky before cutting the ball back for the Dutchman to side-foot in his 149th goal for the Reds. It hadn’t been his liveliest showing, but the ruthless frontman needs few invitations to hit the back of the net and he took this opportunity with aplomb.
United had the ball in the net again after 57 minutes when Ronaldo prodded the ball home from van Nistelrooy’s cross following good build-up work from Rooney and Park. But the linesman correctly judged that the ball had just crossed the byline as Ruud played the ball to Ronaldo.
The second half proved frustratingly quiet, with West Ham unable to open up United’s steady defence and the home side making hard work of adding to the 1-0 scoreline. But the match was almost treated to a Rooney wonder goal with 15 minutes left on the clock. Ronaldo went to the byline and cut the ball back to Rooney, who was 12 yards out. He looped the ball over Hislop but the bar denied him his 17th of the season, which would have equalled his tally for last season. Van Nistelrooy tried an acrobatic effort from the rebound, but Hislop comfortably saved.
Teddy Sheringham made a late appearance as a substitute. He is remembered fondly at Old Trafford for his sterling service between 1997-2001 and his part in the 1999 Treble-winning season, and was afforded a warm welcome just four days before his 40th birthday. But there were no late heroics from the former Reds forward.
The uneventful nature of second half continued with only sporadic United chances decorating a disappointing second 45 minutes. Substitutes Ryan Giggs and Louis Saha both saw efforts go past the post, but one goal proved to be all that was needed.
The Reds have now won their last ten home matches and the last seven league games. The impressive results continue, even if the performance here was not the prettiest. As Sir Alex’s second-placed side still possess a game in hand over third-placed Liverpool with seven games remaining, the Reds remain in the driving seat to finish as runners-up and claim automatic Champions League qualification.

V for Vendetta

March 29th, 2006 by ahmadrazi

Vforvendetta_bigreleaseposter One of the most recent movies on da hot seat this week and a must watch~!!! If you’re expecting a full action pack super hero movie like spidey, this aint it. It’s noting like da fully CGI hulk, but has the sort of batman with james bond attitude. Somethin different, somethin new, and intrestin. Should check it out. The plot is about a person’s revenge and to uphold justice, sumthin like most super hero does. He puts on a mask, but with a smily face coz da face is damn totally damaged man (didnt show in da movie, but we all know who da hero is, maybe that’s why they didnt show his face. ehehehe) Anywayz, its sumthin like a corrupted governement situation where da hero tries to change da whole thing. The fights are kewl, but code name V fights only at the beginning and the ending part. However, da whole story line makes it kewl, u wanna know this, whats that and ey this sounds familliar.(if you see da movie you’ll know what i mean). Some parts or message by da movie maybe possible or is happening in todays world. Maybe in our own world. To find out da truth, check out V’s movie together with da neNatalie_portman2_1wly matured natalie portman.
