Title Race Begins with a Tribute to Best

Monday, November 28th, 2005

Picsrv_1 Another dramatic win by the Reds in Blue when they finally trashed West Ham 2-1 on their grounds at Upton Park last night. With this win, the Reds gained  3 more points to put them 2nd after Chelsea who’s 10 points ahead. Before kick off, Upton Park gave a minute’s applause as a trbute to George Best, one of United’s greatest player of all time who has passed away. Best  died at the age of 59.

The match started of dramatically when Harewood of West Ham scored the Hammers first goal in 55th second of the match. Later in the secon half Rooney scored the equaliser and O’shea heads in the winning goal after a strugle with United’s former goal keeper Roy Carrol. The lineups were as same as the ones used against Villareal last Wednesdays match, except dat Park Ji Sung was to replace Ronaldo for a full time match. Park Ji Sung was terrific dat night, as it was his effort that managed to assist Rooney to score for the equaliser. In fact, i’d rather put Park to play the left winger rather than Ronaldo, atleast he knows how to pass the ball and create chances.

Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire

Wednesday, November 23rd, 2005

Harrypotterandthegobletoffire_bigteaserIf you’re not a Harry Potter fan, you dont read Harry’s books, and you’re not much of a listener when it comes to movies, then you’ll pretty much say " argh, what a waste of 3 hours, I should done sumthin else". Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire goes deeper into the seriousness of Harry’s existance and his life in Hugsworth where this time he really goes face to face with Lord Valdermot and you’ll get to see how things relates from start to end again, and the story hangs waiting for the next movie. I dont read Harry Potter, so some of the magic languages you’ll might find it difficult to get. Dont worry, you’ll get to it once you go through the end of the movie. The whole special effects are kinda cool, but if you’re a Lord Of The Rings Fan, or Star Wars or even Cronicles of Riddic, you’ll understand what i mean when i say, "well, i’ve seen better, nothin new". Well, infact, the new things that you’ll see is that there all magic and that’s what make it cool to watch. Stadiums with unsupported tensile covers, underwater breating weeds that turns your feet into webbed, underwater boat(trust me its no submarine). But what i dont get is the death match that they organized. I mean, it’s a death match, I mean they’re just kids and you put em to fight dragons, drown your friends so that you can save em. I mean like, what if Harry did choose to save Ron and left that girl drown all by erself. I just dont get it. In the end, why do they even care the boy died anywayz. I know it was Valdermoth’s fault but they all know it’s a death match. I dont know, tell me im crazy but i just dont get it into this magic stuff. Thats what i mean by reading the book will help you understand more and keeping you wanting to know. It’s just like asking yourself "Darth Vader is Anakin Skywalker, he’s Luke father?" or "Aragon’s older than Theoden of Rohan?". You know, silly but kewl stuff dat you wanted to keep yourself onto it like that. Anyways, if you’ve been wathcing the previous Harry Potters then dont miss this one, coz you’ll get the whole idea of what’s comin out in the next movie.  p/s: i just watch the movie, so what. ;PGoblet_character1_2

We were suppose to win

Wednesday, November 23rd, 2005

Roon412_alLast night’s show down at Old Trafford should’ve been better, but there was no luck for the Devils. Villareal’s defence was rock solid that night and everage form of midfield and offence. If Forlan were to show off last night’s match, Manchester would’ve been doomed. Rooney was on fire the first half when he almost scored in the penalty box strugle. I’d have to salute Villareal’s defence though, their defence was like a solid brick wall that The devil’s only managed to get 11 shots with only 2 shots on target. As manu was on full attack tonight, their defence was a lil bit weak but acceptable as most of the Villareal players were focusing on defence and they didnt have much effort for their offence, though they did get 2 shots on target. Park Ji Sung almost scored a winning goal when a defender managed to get a clean tackle in penalty box late in the second half. Ji Sung replaced Fletcher who wasnt in his form today, unlike the Chelsea match. So with this draw, it means that United has to win next two week’s match against Benifica in order to get points to qualify for the knock out stage.

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2005

Kif_0775_1 If you’re in town, you’ll have to stop by Kuching’s first eva Futsal centre, the city’s very own Sports Planet. It’s one of the best and fun place to be, located in Pending where most of the factories are and dats where da hidden futsal court is. Anyways, if you wanna go ere, Monday would a perfect day if you’re lucky enough. Coz dats when the Sports Planet is packed with futsal players and of course babes. Thats rite, babes, why coz its da ladies night. Here’s da thing. In this planet, monday night’s a ladies night and you’ll get a laides discount. So what the boys did is that they let the ladies play for the first  60 minutes and rest of the guys kick off for the next 2 or 3 hours. Wolah! you’ve got yourself a ladies night discount price. If you like, you can tackle along with da girls if you wanna. Thanx to da creators of Gol and Gincu, more girs are inspired that they’re filling the futsal court every week. ehehe So anyways, what imma tryin to say is dat, go there on monday, enjoy the game, enjoy da show(if u know what i mean), and enjoy da discount.  Bring along your family and friends. each court is charghed RM90/- per hour and slightly expansive for the other parquet courts, if im not mistaken. If you want to avoid crowd though, for beginers especially, if your shy to start of brushing your skills infront of everyone then week days day time would be da perfect play off time for you guys. Then again, what da heck. Just go ahead and kick some balls…..Did i say dat rite? Enjoy. Kif_0772

Rocky’s Back

Saturday, November 19th, 2005

Rocky Stalone’s back to bring us another epic of Balboa’s biography. Here’s the thing about Rocky i love. All the episodes tells us about how to strugle and achieve goals in every days life. Rocky Balboa starts off in the streets before he turned pro. And during his life as a champion and till he go bankrupt, its a strugle that he and adrian(his wife) had to go through. Almost everything’s there, a life of a loving father, a caring wife, and etc. It’s like a lesson on how to live your life not just as a boxer but anything there is. Like Mick said, you hit with 90% of your brain and only 10% physically. Set your goal, think, use your brain and act with the other 10%. That’s what Rocky’s been teaching me. If you go through all the other Rocky movies, you’ll know what i mean. It’s as if Rocky’s a real icon breathing in today’s life, as if it was based on a true story. Even the song’s kewl, it lifts you up. Right now, Stalone’s at the age of 59 is working on the production, scripts and acting for the next Rocky VI. This time it’s about a retired boxer who’s thinkin of entering the ring again. This is like the come back of Star Wars man, check it out. Just for ur infos, he wrote all the other Rocky’s himself and won awards for em too. This guy’s good when it comes to Rocky and Rambo, but not much of a Contender host eyh. ehehe

Farewell Keane

Saturday, November 19th, 2005

KeanoFergie’s best midfielder ever has left old trafford for good. After King Cantona left, Roy Keane sure was the best man to have that white arm ban to be put on around his left arm. He was a great midfielder and also a leader to the Devils. Without him, united wouldnt have won all those trophies that he struggled together with the team that he lead. Best wishes to the former Manchester United Captain.

Once a united, will always be a united. They’ve even got Beckham and Butt’s comment on Keano’s depart. It’s a sad thing when a veteran leaves the squad coz you know what he’s been through with the lads for his past 12 years with the team. David and Nicky was one em who went through those glory days. Then again, Roy should’ve left when he was at his glory days, just like Cantona did. Instead he chooses to leave now when critics were all around him. His comments on other players, Fletcher especially should’ve been accepted as an oppertunity to gain strength for further improvements rather than a bad critic. I believe it was Keane’s words that haunted Fletcher’s mind gave the right winger the abbility and strength to score against Chelsea last week. Hooray for the new squad of United. The only veterens left so far is Nevile, Giggs and Scholes. Now say hello to the new generation of the Red Devils. I’ve always missed the old united, i miss how Cantona would hug Giggs and Schooles during celebrations, i miss Beckham’s free kick when he had his red jersey on, i miss it when Yorke and Cole pair up to score goals, i miss one of those Peter Schemicheal’s saves. I miss em all. A farewell to Keane means Good bye to those who’ve went through all the glory days with him. All the best Roy Keane.

A FANTASTIC WIN!!!!!

Saturday, November 19th, 2005

Smithscholes_pc412 Ruud’s debut as United’s skipper left the Devils with a 3-1 win and with 2 goals scored superbly. With Keane departed, Smith playing his position led with the opeing goal at Charlton’s home ground. Roony however was spectacular when he assisted Ruud’s goal by defeating three defenders. Ruud’s goal was spectacular, a short chip by the young england striker(Rooney) and Ruud chest it down. Before the ball could hit the ground, he twisted his body 180 degrees to hit the ball while it was air borne and the ball when straight onto the top right corner of the post leaving the keeper standing. That was a terrific goal which i would remember for the rest of my United days. Ruud’s second goal and 3rd goal United to secure their comfort win was an unbelievable effort run but the new Captain. I would have to say, that match was a big tribute match for the former captain Keanoo.

FX Light Saber

Thursday, November 17th, 2005

Dark_sith_2    Back in high school, we use to imagine having light sabers for sale, and we would wonder which model would come out next like the mx2000 light saber, with extra memory card to store shit! What eva. But now! Its fow real, the light saber is here. You name it, the green saber, the red one, even anakin’s blue saber is available on sale, but without the memory card though(there’s no such thing anyway). Not sure where to get it though, but im pretty much sure its on sale in Singapore or maybe perhaps you can find it at One Utama Toy stores. It’ll cost you maybe somewhere around RM800/-. But trust me, it’s really worth it if you’re a true Star Wars freak! Im not much of a freak though, so thats why i didnt buy it.  Anyways, these sabers really has the true real life quality man, the LED allows the light to travel slowly along the white rods evertime you switch it on and off. Just like the movies. Other than that, the sound effects are really wicked. Everytime you swing, hit, switch on and off you can hear the SWUAAANGG~!!!! WEEENNGG!!!! sound. Kewl~!!!! ehehehee, if you’re that desprate, you can buy it on Ebay. Check it out at http://www.firebox.com/?dir=firebox&action=product&pid=995P998ex21
